2oz Kill Devil Rum Gold rum
a teaspoon of Luxardo Maraschino liquor (a little goes a long way)
1/4 oz Demerara simple syrup (1 cup reg sugar, 1 cup Demerara sugar and 1 cup water. Bring to a boil then let cool.)
1/2 oz fresh oj.
Shake all ingredients in a shaker tin w ice and double strain over ice into a rocks glass, then finish w 3 dashes of angostura bitters, and garnish with an orange peel.
